Position Overview: Business Analysis Manager

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for data-driven decision making? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where your analytical skills can directly impact business success? If so, arenaflex is looking for a talented Business Analysis Manager to join our Global Reporting team.

In this critical role, you will contribute to arenaflex's continued success by collaborating with business unit finance teams to drive monthly and quarterly reporting packages for our senior leadership, including the executive team and C-suite executives. You will be responsible for driving and improving our consolidated operational margin analyses while identifying opportunities for efficiency and growth.

Key Responsibilities

As a Business Analysis Manager within Global Reporting at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial narrative that guides executive decision-making. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Analysis & Reporting: Develop innovative approaches to complex financial issues and situations. Conduct comprehensive research, including external benchmarking, and utilize statistical tools and scenario analysis to guide sound financial business decisions.
  • Collaborative Partnership: Work closely with cross-functional teams to establish targets and deadlines, develop plans, conduct analyses, measure results, and continuously improve processes that drive business performance.
  • Executive Communication: Present findings and recommendations to senior management, propose data-driven solutions, and identify opportunities for growth and improvement across the organization.
  • Process Excellence: Drive change and efficiencies throughout the reporting function while delivering impactful, actionable reporting that informs strategic direction.
  • Team Leadership: Provide coaching, guidance, and leadership to team members to achieve business results. Mentor junior analysts and support their professional development.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform first-level review responsibilities to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of all financial reporting deliverables.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role at arenaflex, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA, Master's) is preferred but not required.
  • Moderate to significant experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, budgeting, and business planning.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing and presenting financial information to senior leadership and executive audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across functional teams and build strong working relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial planning and analysis tools.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

While the following are not required, they would strengthen your application:

  • Industry experience in retail, food and beverage, or consumer goods sectors.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and financial reporting tools.
  • Background in project management with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience working in a global or multinational organization with diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CMA are a plus.

Location & Work Hours

This position is based in Chicago, USA, with standard business hours of 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday. We offer flexible work arrangements, including hybrid or remote options, based on role requirements and business needs.
