Triage Pediatric Nurse
Maintain current license and up-to-date CE activities.Job description CMG is seeking a bright and driven Register Nurse to join its team. The ideal candidate is expected to be proficient in clinical back office duties and not limited to front office activities for a medical office.
Responsibilities
- Accurately and completely reports patient status, point of testing, provider orders, contact with patients.
- Fluent in administrating immunization for ages 0-18
- Provide safe and accurate medical advice
- Perform lab tests: throat culture, rapid strep screen, rapid flu, COVID, RSV, monospot, finger stick glucose, urinalysis, stool studies, newborn screen, and heel stick for bilirubin
- Perform procedures: bladder catheterization, vision screen, hearing screen, and CPR support if needed.
- Patient appointment scheduling
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Education : High school diploma or equivalent. Registered Nurse who is currently licensed to practice, in good standing by the state of Texas.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Be able to plan ahead and think on your feet.
- Positive attitude and willing to adapt to fast paced environment
- Maintain current license and up-to-date CE activities. You should expect to be a part of a growing team.
