Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Data Entry Payroll Clerk to maintain payroll information, enter data into our payroll system, and perform various clerical duties as assigned. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll information, including employee data, hours worked, and pay rates

  • Enter payroll data into our payroll system, ensuring timely and accurate processing
  • Perform various clerical duties, such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping
  • Assist with payroll-related tasks, including garnishments, deductions, and benefits administration
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees and management, responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Proven ability to follow specific directions and work within standards of accuracy
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent time management and productivity skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and management
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous experience in payroll administration or a related field

  • Familiarity with payroll software and systems
  • Certification in payroll administration or a related field (e.g., CPP, FPC)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve issues independently
