Cybersecurity Training & Awareness Team Lead

We are looking for a highly organized and articulate Team Lead to manage the execution of our global Cybersecurity Training and Awareness program. This role is less about technical configuration and more about strategic orchestration. You will blend rigorous project management with creative communication strategies to plan, execute, and scale global awareness initiatives and events. Your mission is to ensure that complex security concepts are translated into clear, actionable, and engaging campaigns that drive measurable behavioral change across the entire enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive ongoing cybersecurity training efforts
  • Drive cybersecurity onboarding training for new hires in partnership with HR
  • Ensure success of the newly implemented Cyber Communications Governance
  • Develop appropriate communication strategies and approaches for the Cybersecurity Awareness Month, Ambassador Program, and other learning events
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity experts and IT suppliers to organize learning events; Ambassador Program Quarterly Meeting, A Taste of Cybersecurity, and Cybersecurity Awareness Month
  • Partner with the Global Communications organizations to cascade cybersecurity best practices and industry trends
  • Manage the cyber training and awareness curriculum in Ford’s Learning Management Systems
  • Manage the team’s backlog of work in Jira
  • Assist in the creation of cybersecurity material

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or Communication
  • 5+ years of total experience and Jira/LMS proficiency
  • Ability to work well in a team environment using strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and team leadership skills
  • Extremely well organized
  • Ability to quickly learn and adopt new technology, tools, and methods
  • Project management experience, ability to plan, manage, and maintain the awareness programs and learning events
  • Basic understanding of security concepts and willingness to learn

This position is a salary grade 8.

This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $99,100-$166,200.
