Senior DPW Army Instructor (Full Time and 1099 Positions)

Full Time Salary: $115-125K

1099 Hourly Rate: $75-80/hr

This is a remote position with required travel.

Responsibilities and Duties

Areli is searching for a Senior DPW Instructor. Instructors will work with Areli SMEs and managers to develop and update HQ, IMCOM DPW courses for virtual, onsite, and learner self-instruction. Instructors will conduct research to produce courses and instruction IAW PWS directives, latest regulations, and Areli manager standards. They will be prepared to instruct pilot, rehearsal, and audience attended courses virtually and onsite. Weekend and weekday travel are required for instructors to setup, instruct, and closeout CONUS and OCONUS courses. Professional Interaction is required with government personnel, to include the project COR, for coordination and research purposes. Utilization of Microsoft Teams as a virtual collaboration and instruction, along with the ability to learn self-paced course creation software, are required to successfully execute the position

Position Overview

  • Develops and instructs Army IMCOM DPW School courses including onsite and virtual formats (CONUS/OCONUS)
  • Conducts instruction to accommodate CONUS and OCONUS time zones
  • Includes developing, editing, and instructing specific DPW topics including practical exercises to demonstrate course concepts
  • Coordinates with customer points of contact and Areli management to organize virtual courses and incorporate updates as needed
  • Executes course instruction, ensuring student feedback is positive, and creating successful engagement
  • Coordinates with Areli managers, course facilitators, and subject matter experts to organize courses and incorporate course updates
  • Creates and edits course material principally utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite
Requirements

Required

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in the following topics for DPW: Master Planning, BOID, Engineering, Real Property, Environmental, Real Estate and Housing
  • Definitive and extensive knowledge of DPW operations and program requirements including all elements of the specific division
  • Ability to work remotely and successfully instruct virtual content or CONUS courses (1099s and Full Time Positions)
  • Ability to travel OCONUS to instruct onsite courses (1099)
  • Ability to pass background check (NACI)
  • Possess exceptional and efficient internal and external customer service
  • Ability to work remotely, logically organize material, and successfully facilitate virtual training courses and content
  • Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication
  • Consistent and reliable time management skills
  • Flexible availability to accommodate various time zones (0600-2300)

Preferred

  • Experience conducting training or instruction
  • Current or recent Common Access Card (CAC) holders
  • ADDIE instruction model familiarization
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency in professional utilization of video conferencing tools including Microsoft Teams
  • Current or recent Common Access Card (CAC) holders preferred?
