Experienced Customer Service Representative – Healthcare Industry

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for delivering straightforward administrative and/or other basic business services in Customer Service. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to inquiries from policy holders, providers, and/or others for information and assistance
  • Performing research to respond to inquiries and interpreting policy provisions to determine the most effective response
  • Mailing or routing claim forms and supporting documentation to various units for final processing
  • Independently responding to inquiries, grievances, complaints, or appeals ranging from routine to moderate complexity
  • Working to clearly defined procedures under close supervision
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer issues and concerns

Training and Onboarding

As a new hire, you'll participate in an comprehensive training program that will equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in this role. Our training program includes:

  • 4-6 weeks of training hours from 8:30-5pm EST with a 30-minute lunch
  • Ongoing support and coaching from experienced team members
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development

Key Requirements and Technology Experience

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to understand and interpret policy provisions
  • Previous experience in Pharmacy, Insurance, or Call Center Experience (Pharmacy background is not necessary but preferred)
  • Call Center experience is preferred
  • Previous work-at-home experience
  • Computer and desk phone savvy
  • Reliable and great attendance
  • High School Diploma
