Job Summary

As a Customer Service Advocate/BDC Representative, you will be responsible for engaging with clients, providing information about our products and services, and scheduling sales appointments. This role is based at our centralized call center in Meriden, CT, and offers a fun, energetic environment with plenty of opportunities for growth and development.

Responsibilities

* Answer customer calls and schedule sales appointments in a timely and professional manner

  • Respond promptly to inquiries via internet, phone, and live chat using email, scripts, and templates
  • Provide customers with initial product information and direct them to the appropriate dealership resources
  • Present initial financing options based on customer needs
  • Follow up with leads that are not ready to make an appointment or who do not show up
  • Actively participate in team and process development sessions, fostering positive relationships with teammates, sales teams, and dealership management
  • Utilize CRM tracking system daily to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement

Key Qualifications

* Previous customer service experience in at least one role, preferably in a call center or sales environment

  • Excellent team player with a collaborative attitude and a drive for improvement
  • Prompt and courteous demeanor, with a positive and hardworking personality
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver's license (not required but preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in the automotive industry, with knowledge of our products and services

  • Certification in customer service or sales, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Sales Professional (CSP)
  • Experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate with customers in multiple languages
