Responsibilities

As an Online Chat Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming customer live chats regarding website navigation issues, service questions, and general client concerns
  • Evaluating customer interactions and escalating issues to the Online Chat Manager when necessary
  • Creating relationships with new customers to better understand and achieve their needs
  • Responding to customer questions, inquiries, requests, and problems accurately and professionally
  • Continually portraying and projecting a positive and professional image
  • Providing administrative support to the customer service team

Key Responsibilities:

* Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Utilize active listening skills to understand customer needs and concerns
  • Provide clear and concise solutions to customer problems
  • Escalate complex issues to the Online Chat Manager as necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and issues
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to achieve shared goals and objectives

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess:

  • A strong work ethic with the ability to work well both independently and within a team-oriented environment
  • PC keyboarding and internet experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal
  • An upbeat, positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • The ability to compose professional emails (a plus)
  • Articulate and well-accustomed to a client-facing role

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience (live chat or phone support)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of internet applications

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (communications, business, or marketing)

  • 2+ years of customer service experience (live chat or phone support)
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Knowledge of website navigation and online services
  • Fluency in multiple languages (a plus)
