Assistant Art Director

The Assistant Art Director will be responsible for concept development, art direction, and execution of creative across various channels, collaborating closely with copywriters and project managers to deliver on-brand creative that enhances the member experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver directed work that effectively leverages business requirements, campaign themes and articulates how each execution supports the overarching creative idea
• Demonstrate strong art direction and conceptual thinking across multiple channels
• Apply brand guidelines and campaign look-and-feel consistently across work
• Partner effectively with copywriters and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging, high-quality creative
• Own assigned deliverables and consistently meet deadlines with appropriate guidance
• Proactively seek solutions, ask questions, and engage the right people to move work forward
• Begin to understand the business and what defines success and applies it to the work
• Demonstrate value to teams on programs and projects
• Approach every project from a member perspective putting them first in everything we do
• Self-driven individual contributor who takes ownership of work and priorities
• Open to and values constructive feedback, applying guidance to refine designs and concepts

• Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual and design ability
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Degree in a related field
• 0-3+ years of professional art director experience in an in-house or agency environment
