College Tutors makes a difference in students' lives by helping them succeed on a variety of college entrance exams (primarily ACT). This position provides you with the opportunity to mentor and tutor several students through their college admissions process. You will be making a positive impact on students? education by helping them in one-on-one sessions to build their confidence and knowledge base of the ACT and/or SAT.
What you?ll be tutoring:
- ACT ? all sections (English, math, reading, science, and writing)
- SAT ? all sections (reading/writing and math)
- Test taking skills (including reducing test stress, improving pacing, etc.)
- College admissions support
- Set your own schedule 5-25 hours per week
- Hands on training and continuing education ? we provide extensive training on test structure, strategies, and content
- Safety ? we find and meet families for you
- Legal employment ? direct deposit, W-2, work comp, verifiable income/employment
- Independence ? you?ll have the full support of a supervisor without daily management
