Role Summary

As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with Arenaflex, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex behavioral, developmental, and learning needs. You will design and oversee individualized behavior intervention plans, collaborate with school teams and families, and implement evidence-based strategies to promote student growth and success in the classroom. Your expertise and passion for applied behavior analysis will make a significant difference in the lives of our students and their families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors

  • Develop and manage individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) that are tailored to each student's unique needs and goals
  • Train and support school staff and paraprofessionals on evidence-based strategies and techniques to promote student behavior and academic engagement
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Collaborate with IEP teams, families, and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to student support
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with school administrators, teachers, and support staff to ensure a collaborative and supportive school environment

Requirements

• Active BCBA certification (required)

  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred, but not required
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including students, families, and school staff
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform behavior intervention plans
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong commitment to the principles of applied behavior analysis and evidence-based practice

Employment Options

  • Hourly pay: $50–$55+/hour, based on experience
