Key Responsibilities and Job Elements

As an Operations Manager at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for leading a team of hourly workforce and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting, mentoring, and motivating your hourly workforce to achieve high levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance
  • Collaborating with all support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop plans that meet business objectives
  • Managing safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises to ensure that our customers receive their orders on time and to the right location
  • Working in a fast-paced environment with variable temperatures and weather conditions
  • Continuously climbing and descending stairs (for sites with stairs)
  • Lifting up to 49 pounds and frequently pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching
  • Standing and walking for up to 12 hours during shifts
  • Working in an environment with varying noise levels

Estimated Salary and Benefits

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a leadership or management role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with variable temperatures and weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
  • Ability to work in an environment with varying noise levels

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • Experience in a customer-facing role
  • Experience in a leadership or management role in a fast-paced environment
  • Certification in a related field (e.g. OSHA, CPR)
