Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist (Part-Time, W-2) Council for Relationships (CFR) OVERVIEW Council for Relationships (CFR), a multidisciplinary nonprofit practice, is seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our collaborative clinical community. Part-time psychiatrists at CFR are W-2, fee-for-service employees who provide high-quality care in a collegial environment that emphasizes clinical excellence, continuing education, and peer support. Psychiatrists provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults, working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment that values clinical rigor, thoughtful formulation, and integration of psychiatric and psychotherapeutic perspectives. CLINICAL EXPECTATIONS We are seeking psychiatrists who are interested in building and maintaining an active caseload within a supportive group practice.

  • Meet monthly clinical productivity expectations, with support from leadership and referral pathways
  • Participate in a multidisciplinary care environment, including consultation and collaboration as needed

  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with therapists and other providers to support integrated, high-quality care
  • Participate in:
    • Psychiatry meetings led by the Medical Director
    • Monthly all-staff meetings (as schedule allows)
  • Maintain an up-to-date professional profile on the CFR website
COMMUNITY & PROFESSIONAL ENGAGEMENT CFR values a culture of learning and contribution. Psychiatrists are encouraged (but not required) to:
  • Participate in case consultation and peer dialogue
  • Contribute to educational, training, or outreach efforts aligned with their interests
REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Adult Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Current Pennsylvania Medical License (or eligibility)
  • Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience working within a multidisciplinary team
  • Maintain current professional liability (malpractice) insurance
COMPENSATION Psychiatrists are compensated on a fee-for-service basis, earning 75–82% of collected fees, depending on volume and service mix. Compensation reflects the structure of the role and associated professional responsibilities, including maintaining individual malpractice coverage.
