Senior Brand & Community Manager

Remote, USA Full-time Posted 2026-06-16

‍ About Millie Millie is redefining maternity care by delivering integrated, evidence-based, and compassionate support across pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. We believe all people deserve respectful, affirming care and community throughout the perinatal journey. As an early-stage company, we are building with intention—centered on our mission, our patients, and equity in maternal health. ‍

About the Role

We’re looking for a mission-aligned, creative, and strategic Brand and Community leader to take ownership of Millie’s social platforms and community engagement strategy. This person will be responsible for building and executing content and community plans that authentically reflect our brand and deepen connection with our growing audience—both virtually and in person. ‍ This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about women’s health and ready to roll up their sleeves to shape our voice, grow our platforms, and foster community impact. ‍ What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute Millie’s social media strategy across Instagram and LinkedIn (primary), with additional presence on X, Facebook, and TikTok.
  • Create, manage, and own the social content calendar across platforms, ensuring content is timely, relevant, and aligned with Millie’s mission and tone.
  • Produce on-brand visual and written content (video and static) in partnership with our growth and design teams.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics and use insights to inform strategy and optimize engagement.
  • Foster engagement across platforms by responding to comments, DMs, and engaging with aligned brands and communities.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Growth to support influencer partnerships, local partnerships, and paid social initiatives.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute in-person community events at Millie clinic locations and in surrounding communities.
  • Serve as a brand storyteller and creative contributor, supporting ad hoc content and collateral needs (e.g., marketing assets, educational content).
  • Work cross-functionally with design, clinical, and operations teams to create content while ensuring brand alignment and organizational coordination.

‍ Experience & Qualifications

  • Professional Experience: 4–6 years of experience managing social media and community engagement for multiple brands or organizations (health/wellness and women’s health sector strongly preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to own and grow a brand’s social presence, including content creation, calendar management, and platform strategy.
  • Deep knowledge of major platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, Meta), with platform-specific content strategies.
  • Proven ability to create both video and static content that aligns with brand voice and resonates with the target audience.
  • Experience managing a multi-platform content calendar.
  • Skilled in content design and production tools, including Canva, Figma, and Contentful.
  • Excellent writing skills, with strong attention to tone, clarity, and audience resonance.
  • Strong analytical mindset and experience using metrics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, native analytics) to track performance, report on KPIs, and optimize content and engagement strategies that will inform strategy.
  • Self-directed, organized, and adaptable to a fast-paced startup environment.

Deep alignment with Millie’s mission and a passion for women’s health and community care.

  • Regional Travel Required: Must be based in the Bay Area and willing to travel regularly to Millie clinic locations and community events across the region for filming, content capture, and in-person engagement.

‍ Why Millie

  • Mission-driven team deeply committed to maternal health equity
  • Early opportunity to shape a growing brand and community
  • Creative, collaborative, and flexible culture
  • Supportive of full-time or part-time candidates who are aligned with the mission and can meet the needs of the role
