Key Responsibilities

As a customer service representative in a contractor role, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Interacting with customers primarily through inbound phone calls and possibly chat/email, helping them with all their needs
  • Providing exceptional written and verbal communication skills to resolve customer issues efficiently
  • Utilizing problem-solving skills to address complex customer concerns
  • Maintaining a friendly, empathetic tone, and professional demeanor in all customer interactions
  • Working independently to manage your schedule and meet client requirements
  • Collaborating with our team to ensure seamless customer experiences across all channels

Schedule and Flexibility

As a contractor with arenaflex, you'll have the flexibility to create a work schedule that suits your needs, while still meeting client requirements. The majority of work hours are during weekdays and daytime, but you'll have the opportunity to choose your own hours within client-approved hours of operation.

Earnings and Revenue

Contract earnings vary by client, with rates ranging from $14 to $20 per hour. Pay is determined by your phone status when assisting customers, and additional incentives are available based on client and performance metrics.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed as a customer service representative in a contractor role, you'll need:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven track record in customer service and delivering outstanding customer care
  • Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
  • Friendly, empathetic tone, and professional demeanor
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful mindset
  • Proficient in using technology, including computer applications and software

Technology and Equipment Requirements

To ensure seamless connectivity and clear communication, you'll need:

  • A quiet and secure work environment during working hours
  • A personal computer with a minimum of 8GB RAM (tablets and Chromebooks are not permitted)
  • A wired USB headset with microphone for clear communication
  • High-speed wired internet with a minimum of 10 Mbps download speed and 5 Mbps upload speed for seamless connectivity
  • A valid and up-to-date antivirus software installed
  • A smartphone, Android tablet, or iPad for program work, along with an authentication app

Work Environment Requirements

To ensure a productive and efficient work environment, you'll need:

  • A quiet, uninterrupted space
  • An organized desk area

Contractual Relationship

As a contractor with arenaflex, you'll remain an independent contractor for the duration of your contractual relationship with us. We will not be responsible for withholding taxes on your earnings while contracted with arenaflex. When you receive your contract, you'll be asked to agree to have no claim against arenaflex for vacation pay, sick leave, retirement benefits, Social Security, worker's compensation, health or disability benefits, overtime, unemployment insurance benefits, or employee benefits of any kind.
