Learn & Grow Creative Arts Center LLC is an inclusive, secular school located in Hermitage, TN. Learn & Grow offers a creative curriculum with a focus on a STEAM based academic approach including ASL, art, dance, English language arts, geography, music, science, Spanish, outdoor exploration, and much more.
L&G CAC is currently accepting applications for an Infant/Toddler teacher to join our amazing team Each teacher has a set schedule between the hours of 7am-5pm. This position has a typical schedule of 8a-430p M-F.
Duties
- Develop a careful and creative program suitable for Infants/Toddlers
- Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, etc.) to teach children
- Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
- Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers, colors, crafts etc.)
- Supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
- Collaborate with other educators
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.
- Proven experience as an Infant/Toddler Teacher
- Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and toddler educational methods
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
- Excellent communication and instructional skills
- Friendly and reliable
- Balance between creativity and structure
- Certification in infant/child CPR
- Minimum education level = HS Diploma
