Responsibilities
As an Experienced Bookkeeping Software Customer Support Specialist – Remote Opportunity, you will be responsible for:
- Providing expert support to customers using our bookkeeping software, including QuickBooks Online and comparable accounting software
- Assisting customers with questions related to accounting software processes, ledger entry, navigation, and other troubleshooting needs
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting practices, including AR, AP, journal entries, reconciliation, and other related topics
- Delivering high-quality customer service over the phone in a virtual or 'brick and mortar' call center environment
- Cross-selling relevant products while addressing customer concerns
- Taking ownership of customer issues to provide confident resolution
- Staying up-to-date with new features and updates of our bookkeeping software

Schedule

- Schedule available hours between 8 am and 8 pm CST, Monday – Friday
Skills Needed
* Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software
- Bookkeeping/accounting expertise to include AR, AP, journal entries, reconciliation, etc.
- Customer service experience and demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality customer service over the phone in a virtual or 'brick and mortar' call center environment
- Comfort with cross-selling relevant products while addressing customer concerns
- Strong ownership of customer issues in order to take control of the situation and provide confident resolution
- Tech savvy and avid computer user
- Communicate with a friendly tone and professional demeanor

Technology Requirements
* Personal computer (no tablet)
- Broadband internet connection, at least 10 Mbps download speed
- Wired internet connection (no wi-fi or mobile internet)
- Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system
- Valid antivirus software installed, running and up to date
- Wired USB headset with microphone
- Mac users: Mac acceptance is limited to Intel-based machines with Windows 11 installed via Apple's Boot Camp utility
- No VPN; computers may not connect to internet services through a private VPN during arenaflex working time. Examples: NordVPN, McAfee VPN, etc.
- Full PC requirements
Important Information
* For this program, you must live and work from the United States, except CA, NY, PA, WA. We are currently unable to work with contractors residing in California, New York, Pennsylvania, or Washington.
- Contractors must also successfully pass a criminal background check.
- The relationship between you and arenaflex is a contractual relationship. You will remain an independent contractor for the duration of this program assignment. arenaflex will not be responsible for withholding taxes on your earnings while contracted with arenaflex.
