Job Summary

As a Retail Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, providing expert advice on our products and services, and ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service. You'll work closely with our customers to understand their needs, suggest solutions, and provide personalized recommendations to meet their requirements. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance our reputation as a leading provider of business services.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver exceptional customer experiences by providing expert advice, personalized recommendations, and solutions to meet customer needs

  • Utilize consultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives, and find solutions to meet customer requirements
  • Provide expert knowledge on our products and services, including printing, signs & graphics, and shipping solutions
  • Take complex customer orders using order systems and provide accurate pricing information
  • Assemble parcels and prepare goods for shipping by wrapping items in insulation, inserting items into shipping containers, weighing packages, and affixing labels to parcels
  • Set up and operate printing, binding, and other related equipment using customer-supplied original media and documents
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly retail store environment
  • Process financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal (POS), including handling cash and making change
  • Clean, repair, and stock all retail store printing and shipping equipment and supplies to provide optimal performance and availability
  • Stay current on retail store merchandising materials and ensure proper display of all retail area product and signage
  • Take preemptive action to prevent errors and waste
  • Complete required financial paperwork and may assist with financial reporting, including daily sales, close-outs, and bank deposits
  • Follow arenaflex standard operating procedures as well as adhere to legal, HR, safety, customer service, and security policies and procedures

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent education

  • 6+ months of specialized experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods
  • Ability to move and lift 55 pounds
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to bend/twist at the waist and knees
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to report regularly to work and maintain established business hours in order to support the arenaflex business; regular attendance and/or reporting could include regular attendance at a physical location and/or maintaining established business hours depending on the scope and nature of the position

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in a retail or customer-facing environment

  • Knowledge of printing, signs & graphics, and shipping solutions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
