1Finity, a Fujitsu company, is a global provider of communications networks. They are seeking a talented Level 2 DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software while focusing on automation and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automation, orchestration, and deployment across various environments
- Manage and optimize our source code repositories, primarily Bitbucket, ensuring best practices for branching, merging, and version control
- Administer and leverage Artifactory for efficient management of binaries, dependencies, and build artifacts
- Integrate and configure Sonarqube into our CI/CD pipelines to enforce code quality standards, identify potential bugs, and ensure maintainability
- Work closely with development and Testing teams to understand their needs and provide robust DevOps solutions
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of infrastructure as code, ensuring consistent and repeatable deployments
- Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure the health and performance of our systems and applications
- Provide expert-level support for CI/CD related issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
- Proactively identify areas for improvement within our DevOps processes and tooling, and drive initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for our CI/CD pipelines, tools, and processes
Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
- 1-3 years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role, with a strong focus on CI/CD
- Proficiency with Jenkins for pipeline orchestration, plugin management, and job configuration
- Solid experience with Bitbucket for source code management, including repository administration and branching strategies
- Demonstrable experience with Artifactory for artifact management and repository setup
- Proven experience integrating and configuring Sonarqube for code quality analysis within CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline development and optimization from concept to deployment
- Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) including understanding of cloud infrastructure, services, and deployment models
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Groovy)
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and security best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- A passion for automation and continuous improvement
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
- Experience with Coverity for static analysis and security vulnerability detection is a significant plus
