Configuration Analyst

The Configuration Analyst is responsible for implementing advanced system configurations, analyzing requirements, and supporting medium-sized projects. This role requires strong technical skills, API integration experience, and the ability to troubleshoot intermediate-level issues while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

What You Will Do

  • Implement complex configurations and customizations across systems and applications.
  • Analyze business and system requirements to design optimal configurations.
  • Configure, validate, and troubleshoot API endpoints for seamless integration.
  • Use tools like Postman and Insomnia for API testing, automation, and validation.
  • Develop detailed documentation for configurations, API workflows, and change management.
  • Resolve intermediate-level configuration and API-related issues.
  • Manage medium-sized configuration projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions.

What You Should Have

  • 2–5 years of experience in configuration analysis or similar technical roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills for documenting and explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to manage inquiries independently.
  • Familiarity with industry trends and willingness to learn new technologies.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in configuration tools and platforms (e.g., InsuredApp, Adobe, JIRA).
  • Advanced experience with API testing and validation using Postman and Insomnia, including:
    • Building and managing collections
    • Writing and executing automated tests
    • Handling authentication (OAuth, JWT, API keys)
    • Parsing JSON/XML responses
  • Understanding of RESTful API principles and HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE).
  • Competence in MS Office Suite for documentation and reporting.
  • Preferred: Experience with API automation frameworks or scripting (JavaScript, Python), CI/CD pipelines, and API security best practices.
