Job Description

Aramark Remote Workplace Services are hiring for General Kitchen Helper for a remote lodge near Geraldton, ON.  The General Utility Worker is responsible for the maintenaning and cleanliness of dishes, serve ware, equipment, kitchen, stocking etc. In addition, the individual may perform other serviceable duties as assigned.

Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Local Candidates in Geraldton, ON Flexible schedules for candidates that live in Geraldton, ON Able to go home each night after shift  Comprehensive benefit packages are offered Must have your own transportation to travel to site daily

Candidates Outside of Geraldton, ON Transportation is provided out of Thunder Bay, ON;  Comprehensive benefit packages are offered Travel allowance is available for some areas that are further away. Rotations are 20 days on 10 days off.    

Please note all candidates considered for hire will be required to successfully pass a pre-employment D&A test and criminal background check

Job Responsibilities

•    Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized •    Maintains dishwashing station, three compartment sink and related areas cleaned •    Ensures equipment is clean and in working condition; reports any issues to management •    Performs other light maintenance and custodial tasks •    Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc. •    Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation •    Ensures security of company assets

Qualifications

•    Demonstrates an understanding of basic sanitation procedures •    Must be able to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to hazardous chemicals •    Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

The pay range for this position is $19.02 - $19.02.
