Job Summary:

As a Remote Healthcare Data Entry Specialist, you will play a critical role in processing and managing medical records, claims, and other sensitive healthcare information. You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data into our systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations, and maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of patient information. Key Responsibilities:

* Receive and process new cases, including medical reviews, claims, and other healthcare-related information

• Log and enter data into our systems, utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel to create and manage documents
• Ensure accurate and thorough data entry, adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality
• Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness, making corrections as necessary
• Collaborate with our team to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to data entry or processing
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in healthcare data management

Essential Qualifications:

* 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare-related field, preferably in data entry, medical records, or claims processing

• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience with data entry software and systems
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working with medical records, claims, and other healthcare-related information

• Familiarity with diagnosis codes, Explanation of Benefits (EOB), and healthcare terminology
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and column insertion
• Experience with data analysis and reporting
• Certification in medical records or healthcare administration
