Job Summary

As a Customer Banking Specialist in our Castletown Branch, you'll play a vital role in providing personalized banking solutions to our customers. You'll be responsible for:

  • Conducting in-depth conversations with customers to understand their banking needs, including Home Loans, Business Banking, and Financial Advice
  • Supporting customers with enquiries, account maintenance, and credit product applications
  • Completing Financial Health Checks to assess customers' financial needs and identify areas for improvement
  • Educating customers on our in-branch technology and digital banking options
  • Problem-solving and providing effective solutions while championing our risk-adverse culture

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring that every interaction is personalized, empathetic, and tailored to the customer's needs

  • Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their financial goals and providing solutions to help them achieve them
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery, sharing knowledge and best practices to drive customer satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date with arenaflex products and services, using this knowledge to educate customers and provide informed advice
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring you're equipped to meet the evolving needs of our customers

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in delivering exceptional customer service, preferably in financial services, retail, or hospitality

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide effective solutions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a retail banking environment, with a strong understanding of banking products and services

  • Knowledge of financial planning principles and practices, with the ability to provide informed advice to customers

  • Ability to work independently, with a high level of autonomy and self-motivation
