Commercial Lawyer - REMOTE

In this critical role, you will support contract negotiation and management while ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations. Accountabilities
- Serve as the legal point of contact for customer and vendor contracts.
- Draft, negotiate, and manage a variety of complex technology agreements.
- Advise on contract status and associated legal risks.
- Review and negotiate various commercial agreements.
- Contribute to the development and revision of standard form agreements.
- Participate in contract administration policies and practices.
- Support the company's privacy initiatives.
- Advise executives on legal and compliance matters.
- Provide legal support to internal stakeholders in diverse areas.
- Research unique legal issues impacting the organization.
- Conduct training on legal topics for personnel.
- Manage outside counsel on legal matters as necessary.
Requirements
- J.D. with excellent academic credentials.
- Member in good standing of state bar association.
- 4-8 years of commercial transactional legal experience.
- Proven expertise in structuring and negotiating complex software licenses.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
- Strong ability to balance legal risks with business needs.
- Excellent judgment and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- High integrity and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with global privacy regulations such as CCPA and GDPR.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
