[Remote] Inbound Insurance Sales Consultant

Mutual of Omaha is seeking a Licensed Inbound Sales Consultant to join their Direct Sales Center, where the focus is on converting inbound leads into closed sales. The role involves assessing customer needs, recommending insurance solutions, and maintaining compliance with necessary licensing while working in a dynamic call center environment.

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound sales calls: Answer customer calls, stay updated on policies, and encourage sales while documenting requests
  • Assess and sell insurance products: Understand callers' needs, recommend additional financial services, complete phone applications, and refer leads as necessary
  • Follow up with customers: Reach out to offer extra coverage and maintain relationships with existing customers
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance: Protect customer information and maintain necessary insurance licenses, following all company standards

Skills

  • Must have, or be able to secure, life, health, and accident insurance licenses within the first 90 days of employment if not already held
  • Proven sales experience with strong closing skills
  • Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in computer skills
  • Ability to set up and troubleshoot equipment as needed for a remote work environment
  • High speed broadband cable internet service with minimum upload/download speeds of 100MB download/50MB upload is required
  • Your Internet provider-supplied device must be hard-wired to a router and/or computer

  • Ability to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and in a listed location
  • Active Life & Health Licenses

  • Current or prior call center experience
