Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
* Educating plan benefits, answering questions, and resolving issues based on incoming telephone member contacts
* Utilizing compliant documentation standards to ensure accurate and efficient communication
* Providing empathetic and member-centric service, exceeding our members' expectations
* Ensuring that every member is shown respect, kindness, and all questions are thoroughly answered/resolved
* Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve customer satisfaction
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* Demonstrated ability to be empathetic and compassionate
* Ability to apply patience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
* Basic computer, typing, and telephony skills
* High School diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent experience
* Or, equivalent military experience
Preferred Qualifications
* Customer Service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
* Education in a related field, such as healthcare or business
