Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to our valued customers, resolving their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Registering sales on assigned cash sign-in, providing customers with courteous, honest, friendly, and efficient checkout service
  • Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering help with services and products
  • Resolving customer troubles and answering inquiries to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Fashioning and sharing customer service best practices with all team members to provide an exceptional and unique customer experience
  • Recommending products for sale to customers and recommending trade-up and/or partner products
  • Registering customer purchases on assigned cash sign-in, collecting cash, and distributing change as requested; processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed
  • Maintaining counters and shelves smoothly and neatly merchandised, taking inventory, and maintaining data
  • Checking in and pricing products as required or as directed by safe supervisor or communicated by the shift leader
  • Implementing employer asset protection methods to prevent and minimize profit loss
  • Ensuring compliance with state and local laws concerning regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products)
  • Constructing and maintaining presentations, including promotional, seasonal, and sale products
  • Completing resets and revisions as directed
  • Assisting with separation of food products (e.g., raw food from pre-cooked) and product placement as specified by guidelines/strategies (e.g., raw and frozen meats on bottom shelves)
  • Having a working understanding of store systems and store systems
  • Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative device, and suggestive promotion of promotional photo products
  • Assisting with outside and indoor maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store situation and appearance
  • Complying with all company regulations and policies; maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers
  • Completing special assignments and other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment
  • Prefer to have previous work experience with arenaflex
  • Prefer to be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours
