Job title: AVID Tutors 2023-2024 (College Students) Company: Millville Public Schools Job description: Description: *Up to (15) tutors needed to tutor secondary AVID students through Socratic Tutorial Methods during the regular school day under the supervision of a certified AVID teacher *Not to exceed (18) hours per week (work schedules will vary based on need and number of students in class) *In the event of a field trip, training, or meeting, hours may be extended to (7) hours per day Qualifications/Requirements: *Must be a current college student *High school diploma required *Pre-training in AVID methodologies required *Some training will occur outside of the AVID classroom during evening sessions Salary: $15.00 per hour Application Procedures: All interested candidates are required to complete an online application.
