Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, handling incoming contacts, and assisting with booking needs and questions. You'll work closely with our teams to resolve issues, provide guidance, and ensure that our guests have an effortless experience. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for delivering exceptional service, and a commitment to our company values.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional service to guests, responding to their inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Handle incoming contacts via voice, email, and chat, processing reservation requests and supporting basic loyalty and customer care needs
  • Identify guest reservation needs and follow sales techniques to maximize revenue
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures for special booking rules and requests, loyalty guidelines, and case management
  • Provide customer support through assistance and guidance in issue resolution, and open communication with Marriott properties, related company contacts, and third parties
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

  • No related work experience required
  • No supervisory experience required
  • License or certification not required

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous customer service experience in a call center or hospitality environment

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with software applications
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
