National Sales Manager - Peter Millar Licensing Co.

Imperial is seeking a National Sales Manager for the Peter Millar Licensing Co. channel to serve as the primary point of contact for the licensing partnership between Imperial and Peter Millar, support a team of green grass Peter Millar sales representatives across the United States, and oversee approximately 3 - 4 inside sales team members. The role includes managing day-to-day operations, ensuring short- and long-term sales goals are met while overseeing the long-term strategic planning of the business, and maintaining relationships with key accounts, partners, and production teams.

Salary: Competitive base salary and incentive package Full Time Location: Remote, US Based (20% travel, domestic)

What You’ll be Doing

  • Strategic Channel Leadership and P&L Ownership:
    • Oversee strategic vision for the Peter Millar Licensing Co. channel, managing the full P&L and reporting responsibilities. Lead monthly variance reviews and annual forecasts, providing actionable insights and presenting performance updates to senior leadership.
  • Drive Revenue Growth and Sales Leadership:
    • Lead sales strategy for the Peter Millar Licensing Co. channel, supporting an independent Peter Millar sales team and overseeing the inside sales team; set and achieve KPIs while increasing market share through channel distribution.
  • Facilitate Pricing Strategy:
    • Implement long-term pricing strategies that align with market trends, brand positioning, and margin goals.
  • Lead Product, Marketing, and Production Initiatives:
    • Oversee seasonal catalog development in coordination with marketing; ensure timely salesman sample production and delivery; collaborate with sourcing, product design, and production teams to develop new products that meet brand and market needs.
  • Serve as Key Partnership Liaison:
    • Act as the primary corporate liaison to Peter Millar and major accounts; facilitate and negotiate key partnerships and sponsorships for licensed goods. Maintain strong communication channels between Imperial and Peter Millar corporate teams.
  • Execute Operational Planning:
    • Manage daily operations to ensure short-term sales goals are met while planning for long-term business growth. Partner closely with Imperial’s finance, marketing, and operations leaders to align channel objectives with broader company strategy.
  • Apply Data-Driven Insights:
    • Use a highly data-centric and analytical approach to interpret sales and operational data, identify opportunities, solve problems, and drive informed, strategic decision-making.
  • Deliver Engaging Presentations:
    • Create and present polished sales presentations for customer meetings and sales conferences, effectively telling a compelling brand story and influencing internal and external stakeholders.

What We Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Proven success leading sales teams, setting KPIs, and driving revenue growth in the golf and/or premium apparel industry.
  • Previous experience managing a full P&L, including forecasting, budgeting, and using performance data to guide strategy and improve results.
  • Deep understanding of golf culture, particularly the private club sector, paired with familiarity and enthusiasm for the Peter Millar brand.
  • Strong business mindset: comfortable digging into numbers, identifying trends, and turning data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with partners in finance, sourcing, product design, and marketing to hit shared goals and improve efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of product customization and decoration processes, including logo design, vector file setup, and various decoration application techniques.
  • Skilled oral and written communicator who can inspire confidence, build relationships, influence teams, and engage audiences with a compelling brand story.
  • Organized, adaptable, and effective at managing multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Highly data-centric and analytical, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in PowerPoint/Keynote, Microsoft Office Suite and order entry systems.
