Influencer Community Coordinator

Amika is a Brooklyn-born, salon-raised haircare brand committed to sustainable practices and community engagement. The Influencer Community Coordinator will support the influencer team in community growth through initiatives like creator seeding, relationship building, and maintaining influencer lists.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate always-on organic gifting initiatives, including replying to inbound inquires, vetting creators, sending out packages from our Brooklyn-based office + tracking results
  • Scout + engage with emerging creators through consistent, always-on gifting efforts
  • Support team with creator relationship-building initiatives through curated sendouts for birthdays, milestones, product restocks + other key moments
  • Maintain organization of influencer team office inventory + product closet, ensuring gifting supplies + products are stocked
  • Build + maintain influencer lists across different niches + demos, ensuring information is up to date + organized
  • Oversee both inbound + outbound daily outreach + communication with influencers to ensure timely responses across platforms
  • Manage the daily upkeep of our influencer marketing platforms + trackers to ensure they’re organized + accurate
  • Assist with brainstorming, managing + executing mailers for new product launches, cultural moments + evergreen campaigns, including support with managing design submissions, building targeted influencer lists, shipping + tracking results
  • Assist with monthly reporting and KPI tracking
  • Support community building platforms such as TYB (try your best)
  • Continuously monitor + report on best-in-class influencer activations, trends, mailers, events, + more and identify how they can connect to overall amika brand strategies

Skills

  • 1+ year of experience in influencer marketing, internship acceptable (preferably in beauty or hair)
  • Strong familiarity with Tribe Dynamics, CreatorIQ and similar tools
  • Genuine enthusiasm and knowledge of the beauty industry and influencer marketing landscape
  • Thrives in dynamic, high-energy environments that are constantly evolving
  • Proactive mindset with a strong desire to learn and contribute
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Detail-focused with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Fast learner with strong problem-solving skills
  • Works well in a collaborative setting and is equally effective when working independently
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • BA/BA in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field preferred
