Role Overview
As a Full Stack Data Center Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud and on-premises data center infrastructure. You will work closely with our IT infrastructure management team to ensure the smooth operation of our data centers, and you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and manage cloud and on-premises data center infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, and network equipment
- Collaborate with our IT infrastructure management team to ensure the smooth operation of our data centers
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system diagrams, configuration files, and troubleshooting guides
- Participate in the development and implementation of data center security policies and procedures
- Collaborate with our security team to ensure the security and integrity of our data centers
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of hardware and software components
- Participate in the development and implementation of data center capacity planning and forecasting
- Collaborate with our IT operations team to ensure the smooth operation of our data centers
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as computer science, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in data center operations and management
- Strong knowledge of cloud and on-premises data center infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, and network equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
- Strong knowledge of data center security policies and procedures
- Strong knowledge of data center capacity planning and forecasting
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in a technical field, such as computer science, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering
- Strong knowledge of cloud and on-premises data center infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, and network equipment
- Strong knowledge of data center security policies and procedures
- Strong knowledge of data center capacity planning and forecasting
- Experience with data center management software, such as VMware vCenter or Microsoft System Center
- Experience with cloud management platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
- Strong knowledge of data center power and cooling systems
- Strong knowledge of data center fire suppression and emergency response systems
