Job Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Assembling and maintaining large-scale data pipelines to support data science and analytics initiatives
- Identifying key internal and external data sources, collaborating with data researchers to define data requirements for new projects and initiatives
- Designing and developing software applications that process, store, and serve data for use by others
- Creating data pipelines that are adaptable, repeatable, and secure, ensuring data consistency and integrity through rigorous testing and validation
- Investigating and resolving issues and roadblocks as they arise, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless data flow and high-quality results
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that meet business needs and drive growth
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop data pipelines that integrate with various data sources, ensuring data quality and availability
- Create ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, database frameworks, and tools for real-time and batch data processing
- Develop and maintain data pipelines that are scalable, repeatable, and secure
- Investigate and resolve data inconsistencies and errors, ensuring data integrity and quality
- Collaborate with data researchers to define data requirements and develop data-driven solutions
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless data flow and high-quality results
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on data pipeline design and development
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and data modeling
- Experience working with data visualization tools and technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve complex data-related issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
* Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Experience with REST API development and data integration
- Experience with Purple data platform, including Sky Blue Data Pipeline, Purple Databricks, and related technologies
- Experience with data engineering tools and technologies, such as Apache Beam, Apache Spark, and related frameworks
- Experience with DevOps pipelines and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
