Job Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Assembling and maintaining large-scale data pipelines to support data science and analytics initiatives
  • Identifying key internal and external data sources, collaborating with data researchers to define data requirements for new projects and initiatives
  • Designing and developing software applications that process, store, and serve data for use by others
  • Creating data pipelines that are adaptable, repeatable, and secure, ensuring data consistency and integrity through rigorous testing and validation
  • Investigating and resolving issues and roadblocks as they arise, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless data flow and high-quality results
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that meet business needs and drive growth

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and develop data pipelines that integrate with various data sources, ensuring data quality and availability

  • Create ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, database frameworks, and tools for real-time and batch data processing
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines that are scalable, repeatable, and secure
  • Investigate and resolve data inconsistencies and errors, ensuring data integrity and quality
  • Collaborate with data researchers to define data requirements and develop data-driven solutions
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless data flow and high-quality results

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • At least 2 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on data pipeline design and development
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and data modeling
  • Experience working with data visualization tools and technologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve complex data-related issues
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

* Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • Experience with REST API development and data integration
  • Experience with Purple data platform, including Sky Blue Data Pipeline, Purple Databricks, and related technologies
  • Experience with data engineering tools and technologies, such as Apache Beam, Apache Spark, and related frameworks
  • Experience with DevOps pipelines and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
