Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Experience Agent at arenaflex, your primary responsibility will be to provide top-notch service to our customers in the Electricity industry. Your duties will include:
  • Fielding incoming customer service calls and resolving customer issues in a timely and accurate manner
  • Researching account status and identifying account issues to provide effective solutions
  • Addressing billing inquiries and resolving billing disputes in a fair and efficient manner
  • Processing disconnection and re-connection requests to ensure seamless service
  • Enrolling customers and resolving enrollment issues to ensure a smooth onboarding process
  • Initiating collection activity on past due accounts and processing disconnection and re-connection requests to minimize downtime
  • Serving as a customer advocate while adhering to all regulatory requirements and company policies associated with the role

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required
  • Outstanding phone etiquette and polished communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent listening skills to understand customer concerns and provide effective solutions
  • Ability to maintain a calm demeanor when dealing with agitated customers
  • Attentive to detail and committed to high-quality customer service
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Willingness to identify problems and suggest process improvements to enhance customer experience
  • Proficiency in Windows environment and MS Word and Excel applications
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where change is commonplace

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an inbound call center environment, with customer care experience strongly preferred
  • Experience within the retail electricity industry strongly preferred
  • Experience in similar markets such as utilities, telecom, or cable preferred
