Key Responsibilities:

Lead Cross-Functional Projects:

Collaborate with energy and automotive business teams to drive business process optimizations and support sales and service procedures using data science tools and methods.

Conduct Data Analysis:

Add to all phases of data science projects, from interpreting complex business issues into data science problems to performing data analysis and visualization, and providing solutions to the business.

Develop Complex Data Pipelines:

Create and maintain complex data pipelines to support our team's goal in democratizing data and empowering an information-driven association, collaborating with Data Analysts, Data Engineers, AI/ML Specialists, and Product Managers.

Communicate Insights:

Effectively communicate significant insights to all levels of the organization with varying levels of data science understanding and expertise.

Collaborate with Stakeholders:

Intimately collaborate with leadership, design, and other partners to deliver significant business insights.

Apply Advanced Analytics:

Apply different machine learning, advanced analysis, and visualization procedures to various datasets across the organization.

What You'll Bring:

2+ Years of Experience:

Or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Operations Research, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field).

Results-Oriented:

Strong results-oriented mindset with keenness and in-depth knowledge of data science skills.

Excellent Communication:

Solid written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels in the organization.

Proven Track Record:

Demonstrated history of extracting insights and building ML models, particularly in business analytics (or related) area.

Uplevel ML Capabilities:

Uplevel group's ML capabilities in at least one significant area (e.g., estimation, predictive modeling, descriptive analysis, or Natural Language Processing (NLP)).

Master in SQL and Python:

Master in SQL and Python, particularly in standard data science libraries and frameworks like pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, Tensorflow/PyTorch, PySpark, etc.

Proficiency in Visualization Tools:

Proficiency in at least one visualization tool, such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.

Master in Data Wrangling:

Master in data wrangling and analyzing large and complex datasets, structured or unstructured.

Self-Starter:

Ability to self-start and work independently in an unstructured environment, as well as navigate ambiguity and bring a problem from 0 to 1.

Exceptional Problem-Solving:

Amazing problem-solving, critical thinking, and project management skills, as well as the ability to quickly pivot and adapt to changing priorities.

Multitasking:

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
