Paralegal
Dine Brands Global, Inc. is one of the largest full-service restaurant companies in the world, franchising restaurants under well-known brands. The Paralegal will assist Attorneys with processing corporate transactions within the franchise practice area, preparing legal documents, and managing transaction-related tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with preparation and production of franchise-related legal documents, including agreements and correspondence
- Assist attorneys with due diligence process associated with review of transactions
- Work cross-functionally to manage a large volume of transactions
- Provide lawyers with assistance in the preparation for and closing of various franchise-related transactions
- Assist practice area with reporting, tracking and data management
Skills
- Excellent ability to work efficiently, multi-task and independently manage a large volume of projects
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment and interact professionally with internal and external business partners
- Self-starter with willingness to further develop skills as paralegal and businessperson
- Excellent communication (speaking, writing, and listening) skills
- Bachelor's degree required
- Desire to have a career in the Legal field with prior experience as a paralegal or in the legal setting preferred
- Proficient in technology platforms, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); proficiency with Salesforce helpful but not required
