What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design solutions

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Cloud architecture, its capabilities and limitations

  • Ensure that solutions are scalable, maintainable and adhere to NRI best practices and standards

  • Lead technical design and implementation reviews

  • Develop technical specifications and ensure that development teams are aligned to these specifications

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, testing, and project management

  • Create technical proposals, respond to RFPs/RFQs, and deliver demonstrations

  • Develop accurate pricing models and SOWs

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5+ years in IT, with experience in cloud migration & architecture, designing, implementing & managing cloud computing strategy, including cloud adoption plans, application design & monitoring.

  • Experience in Pre-Sales & development of proposals or SoW for solutions utilising best practices

  • Experience building secure, scalable & cost-effective cloud infrastructure, acting as a bridge between technical, security, & business stakeholders.

  • Key skills include proficiency in Azure, AWS or OCI, DevOps tools, & security.

  • Deep knowledge of public/hybrid clouds, e.g. AWS, Microsoft Azure, Platform, Oracle cloud is a bonus.

  • Experience with operating systems (Linux/Windows), networking & virtualization.

  • Proficiency in IaC (Infrastructure as Code) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, & programming languages, e.g. Python, Bash, C#.

  • Strong understanding of cloud security protocols & compliance.

  • Cloud certifications highly valued, e.g. Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.

  • Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, & the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • The role will be expected to produce overall solutions including but not limited to High-Level Design, Solution Briefs, Statements of Work, Service Design & Bills of Materials.

  • Must have strong documentation skills including strong understanding of Architecture design content & principles.

  • Must have strong communication skills & the ability to convey ideas & messages to a range of audiences.
