Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-centric Part-Time Remote Customer Retention Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our customer retention team, you will be responsible for handling incoming calls, emails, and other customer inquiries, providing solutions-focused support, and driving sales growth through upselling and cross-selling opportunities. Key Responsibilities

* Handle incoming calls, emails, and other customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner

  • Provide empathetic and solution-focused support to customers, addressing their concerns and resolving issues on the first call
  • Utilize salesmanship to maximize sales opportunities and meet sales goals and expectations
  • Suggest products and services to customers, probing for additional information to provide personalized solutions
  • Provide lighting and home décor solutions that meet customer needs and drive sales growth
  • Prevent customer returns and ensure customer retention through reasonable negotiations and solutions-focused support
  • Demonstrate self-confidence and a desire to go the extra mile to take care of customers from A-Z
  • Partner with management on escalated customer and product issues, identifying trends and communicating them in measurable terms
  • Provide proactive, consistent follow-up to all customer inquiries, responding to emails the same day
  • Document complete summaries of customer inquiries, actions taken, and expectations set forth on the respective order
  • Maintain standards set forth by the company QA program, providing the highest quality of service and demonstrating improvements when necessary

Essential Qualifications

* Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience or retail background

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate details to customers in a professional and calm manner
  • Computer literate, with the ability to navigate through programs and windows
  • Excellent typing and data entry skills
  • Ability to multi-task, talking on the phone and typing notes at the same time
  • Effective problem solver with a strong work ethic and a desire to grow your career

Preferred Qualifications

* Call center experience

  • Experience in the lighting and home décor industry
  • Knowledge of sales and customer service principles and practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
