About the opportunity: We’re looking for a System Analyst- Application Systems. This role is responsible for designing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise applications and system integrations, with a primary focus on cloud platforms, application development, and data enablement for reporting and analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain cloud-based, web, and enterprise applications using Azure and Oracle Cloud technologies.
  • Develop and maintain backend logic and integrations, including REST and SOAP APIs, to support system-to-system communication.
  • Write, optimize, and maintain advanced SQL scripts, stored procedures, and database objects to support applications, reporting, and analytics use cases.
  • Create, modify, and support application code using C#, Visual Studio, JavaScript, and related frameworks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application, API, and database issues, performing root-cause analysis and implementing permanent fixes.
  • Support reporting and analytics by enabling reliable data access for Power BI, SQL-based reports, and Excel-based ad-hoc analysis.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical input, and deliver effective system solutions.
  • Maintain and enhance legacy systems, ensuring continued stability while supporting gradual modernization.
  • Use source control and deployment tools to manage code versions, releases, and production fixes.
  • Document system designs, technical specifications, and support procedures to ensure knowledge continuity and operational resilience.
  • Support multiple applications and environments simultaneously, prioritizing work effectively and responding to production needs.

The experience and skills we value

  • BE/B. Tech in Computer Science
  • 5-7 years of industry experience out of which 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience of Visual Studio,C#, PowerBI, SQL and Azure Software development in the manufacturing industry

What will put you ahead

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex system, application, and data issues.
  • Proficiency in C# and Visual Studio, including object-oriented design, debugging, and code optimization.
  • Advanced SQL expertise, including complex queries, performance tuning, stored procedures, and database design fundamentals.
  • Experience designing and consuming APIs, including REST and SOAP services, for enterprise integrations.
  • Working knowledge of Azure and/or Oracle Cloud platforms, including application hosting, integrations, and data services.
  • JavaScript development skills for frontend or integration-related enhancements.
  • Experience supporting enterprise reporting and analytics, including Power BI, SQL-based reporting, and Excel extracts.
  • Understanding of source control and release management practices, including versioning, rollback, and change tracking.
