Key Responsibilities

As an Airport Customer Service Agent, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service to our passengers, resolving issues efficiently and effectively, and ensuring that our customers have a positive experience. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting passengers with their baggage pick-up and resolving issues related to delayed, lost, or damaged items
  • Utilizing computer software to track and catalog luggage
  • Handling customer interactions with class, efficiency, and professionalism
  • Performing other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and moving items of 70 pounds and/or more regularly and repetitively lifting weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Valid In-State Driver's License
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Ability to pass up to a 10-year background check
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have the authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security
  • Must be able to carry heavy items up and down jetway stairs
  • Must be able to be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and use radio equipment

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the aviation industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with software applications
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
