Experienced Customer Development Manager - arenaflex - Open to Remote Work

About the Position

As a Customer Development Manager at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in fostering strong partnerships with our retail customers, suppliers, and internal account teams. Your primary objective will be to drive alignment and simplification across all three tiers of the distribution process. This position requires a deep understanding of insights and analytics to support our retail customers and identify growth opportunities. You will be responsible for creating and delivering actionable insights and recommendations based on a variety of data sources, ensuring that our vendor programs are executed effectively in the field.

Responsibilities

* Create and deliver insights and recommendations using various data sources, including Point of Sale (POS) data, syndicated data from sources like Nielsen and IRI, and account-specific databases.

  • Monitor the field execution of vendor programs and ensure that suppliers are engaged in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay informed of analytic best practices across the industry and apply this knowledge to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze and report data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions, and develop, communicate, execute, and monitor performance metrics and goals.
  • Track category performance, including sales, profits, margins, and market share, and create and deliver effective reports using POS data and syndicated data.
  • Analyze supply chain to evaluate and recommend supplier performance, and understand and apply customer, consumer, and industry insights using market research data.
  • Ensure superior client satisfaction through deep analytics and team problem-solving.

Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree and experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector; Adult Beverage preferred.

  • Understanding of National Chain Sales, Retail, and Distributor operations.
  • Expertise in category management principles and shopper/consumer insights.
  • High-level understanding of Category Management processes and practices.
  • Assertive leadership and decision-making skills with high energy.
  • Preferred experience with Syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI) and Internal Shipment Data.
  • Strong foundation in business fundamentals and business finance.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and quantitative analysis skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-Haves

* Experience in the Adult Beverage industry.

  • Familiarity with market research methodologies.
  • Ability to collaborate with external retail customers and key suppliers.
