The Role

As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in supporting our Alternate Investments team. You will be responsible for processing trade deal purchases in customer profiles, identifying and addressing breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents, and processing corporate activity activities, transactions, and returns. You will also be responsible for analyzing complex issues, testing and validating new technology enhancements and vendor changes, and completing projects in Trading, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor profile.

Key Responsibilities

* Process trade deal purchases in customer profiles and identify/address breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents

  • Process corporate activity activities, transactions, and returns
  • Analyze complex issues and test/validate new technology enhancements and vendor changes
  • Complete projects in Trading, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor profile
  • Engage with Retail and Institutional Service Teams via email, phone, Slack, Overview, and Salesforce
  • Collaborate with and embody TD Ameritrade Cleaning in daily interactions with fund companies, transfer agents, opposite agencies, and other external business partners
  • Perform duties such as:

+ Reviewing subscription deals or transfer requests + Identifying client/advisor account exceptions + Meeting regulatory commitments (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3) + Reconciling business, dividend, and transactions breaks + Reconciling across BOS and fund companies + Reviewing and analyzing correct tax coding and correcting tax coding errors + Troubleshooting internal/external system issues or concerns + Identifying root causes of breaks between TDA, the fund, etc. + Providing method or innovation service alternatives to management + Remediating transfer issues with the fund or opposite firm + Answering business partner inquiries regarding fund details requirements/eligibility + Providing follow-up on substitute expenditure moves to expedite customer demand or remediate not neat issues + Prompt and accurate finalization of client investing and dividend demands

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and other CRM systems a plus

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in the financial services industry or a related field

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance procedures
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Familiarity with TD Ameritrade and other financial systems
  • Certification in data entry or a related field
