Responsibilities
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Handling inbound and outbound calls to advise members on benefits and respond to consumer inquiries and issues
- Providing education and status on previously submitted documents and requests
- Meeting performance goals established for the position in the areas of efficiency, call quality, customer satisfaction, first call resolution, and attendance
- Collaborating with colleagues to resolve complex issues and improve customer experiences
- Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Empathic and good listening skills: The ability to understand and respond to customer needs in a compassionate and professional manner
- 1 year of customer service experience: A proven track record of delivering exceptional service in a customer-facing role
- Call Center experience: A plus, but not required
- Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills: The ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management while handling multiple tasks and priorities
- Previous sales or benefits experience: Ideal, but not required
- High School diploma: A minimum educational requirement
- Ability to clear background check: A necessary step in ensuring the safety and security of our clients and team members
Preferred Qualifications
