- Position: iLearn - School Year ?23- ?24 Certified Teacher -Tutor ($40 hourly) Noncertified Tutor ($30 hourly)
- Morning/early afternoon on-site meetings start 9/5
- Paid training via Zoom 4 pm - 7:30 pm 9/5, 9/6, 9/7, & 9/8
- Tutoring starts 9/26 - end of school year
- Embedded Tutoring between the hours of 8:00 am - 3:00 pm (Most likely 4 days a week, 7 hours a day, 28 hours max. Must have full week availability to apply.)

- Middle School - 200 MacArthur Ave. Garfield, NJ 07026
- Engage with scholars in grades K-8 to build on existing mathematics and/or literacy skills.
- Complete daily records on scholar progress and site needs using the tools provided.
- Use data to drive instruction.
- Communicate regularly with your site coordinator to provide optimum learning- experiences for scholars.
- Participate in coaching from an instructional coach.
- Use an asset-based approach in working with scholars.
- Be responsive and work collaboratively with other tutors and site staff.
- Complete all training.
- Experience working with young children, preferably in a learning and teaching capacity;
- Standard certificate, certificate of eligibility (CE), or certificate of eligibility with advanced standing (CEAS) to receive a $40 hourly pay rate; without a certificate, you will be paid at a $30 hourly rate;
- New Jersey Certification of Criminal History (fingerprint form);
- Experience with Google Suite functions including Google Sheets and Forms;
- Professional skills include attention to detail, timely and proactive communication, and job preparedness;
- Reliable transportation to travel to sites.
- Genuine desire to work with young children in a teaching capacity, building on foundational skills and closing learning gaps using formative and summative data and strong teaching pedagogy.
- Background Clearance- The final offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and employment authorization verification.
- NJ Fingerprint Certificate and local COVID requirements of the iLearn site at which you are working including any mask rules must be followed while indoors.
