Greystones is hiring a results-driven Technical Program Manager to lead and coordinate complex technical initiatives supporting data-driven mission outcomes. The ideal candidate will have experience managing cross-functional teams, working with IRS data environments, and translating business and technical requirements into executable program plans. The role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, along with a deep understanding of data systems and analytic workflows.

Major Duties/Tasks

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technical programs supporting IRS data initiatives.
  • Manage cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and developers, to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  • Define program scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables aligned with mission and stakeholder priorities.
  • Oversee the development and optimization of data pipelines and workflows across disjoint and heterogeneous systems.
  • Coordinate data integration efforts and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and data governance standards.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into actionable plans.
  • Monitor program performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with IRS data policies, security requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement of processes, tools, and program execution methodologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience managing technical programs or projects in a data-centric environment.
  • Familiarity with IRS data, including business return elements, return processing, and return metadata.
  • Strong understanding of data pipelines, data integration, and analytics workflows.
  • Experience working with SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI), and data analysis environments (e.g., R or Python).
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other program management methodologies preferred.
