Role Overview: Shape how modern enterprise applications are built and experienced by leading frontend strategy across a multi-product platform that powers employee performance and engagement. This role drives the evolution of UI architecture, enabling scalable, high-performing, and intuitive user experiences used by teams at scale. At Genesys, we are advancing how organizations connect with their employees and customers through AI-driven innovation and thoughtful design, and this role plays a critical part in that journey. You will influence how AI-assisted development and modern UI practices are embedded into the product lifecycle, partnering across Product and UX to deliver meaningful, user-centered outcomes. This is an opportunity to operate at platform level, guiding long-term technical direction while expanding your impact across teams and products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and evolve frontend architecture across multiple products to ensure scalability, consistency, and long-term maintainability

  • Drive adoption of AI-assisted development practices to improve engineering efficiency and accelerate high-quality delivery

  • Define and standardize reusable UI components, design systems, and shared patterns across the platform

  • Partner with Product Managers and UX Designers to deliver intuitive, high-impact user experiences that improve usability and engagement

  • Lead performance optimization initiatives to enhance responsiveness, reliability, and scalability of frontend applications

  • Mentor and guide frontend engineers, raising technical standards and fostering a culture of engineering excellence

  • Influence and shape long-term UI strategy across the platform, aligning technical direction with business goals

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience as a Senior or Staff Frontend Engineer, UI Engineer, or similar role

  • Deep expertise in modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular, with strong proficiency in TypeScript

  • Strong background in component-based architecture, state management, and frontend performance optimization

  • Experience building complex, data-driven interfaces such as dashboards, analytics tools, or real-time systems

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with Product and UX partners in cross-functional environments

  • Proven track record of technical leadership, ownership, and influencing engineering direction

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor, Claude, or similar platforms

  • Familiarity with AI-driven UI patterns and emerging interaction models

  • Experience building or scaling design systems or shared UI frameworks

  • Background working in large-scale SaaS or platform-based environments

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.  

143,400.00 - $185,600.00
