JOB SUMMARY

The Director of AI Presales plays a critical role in ensuring that the pre-sales process is aligned with the overall sales strategy of Argano. This involves leading a team of pre-sales professionals, developing effective strategies, collaborating with other departments, and continually improving processes to drive success in the sales cycle. They are responsible for understanding clients' requirements, providing technical expertise, and ensuring effective communication between the pre-sales team, sales team, and other relevant departments.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the presales department.
  • Develop and implement strategic presales initiatives to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to create compelling solutions.
  • Ensure the presales team delivers high-quality proposals, demos, and presentations.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategy.
  • Report on presales performance and metrics to senior leadership.
  • Lead and mentor the presales team to ensure professional growth and development.
  • Providing support to the sales team by helping to craft proposals, participating in customer meetings, and ensuring that the pre-sales team is providing the necessary information and resources to help close deals.
  • Implementing processes for continuous improvement within the pre-sales function. This involves staying updated on industry best practices, evaluating the effectiveness of pre-sales strategies, and adjusting as needed.
  • Tracking and analyzing key performance metrics to measure the success of pre-sales efforts. This includes monitoring conversion rates, customer engagement, and other relevant metrics to assess the effectiveness of the pre-sales team.
  • Gathering and incorporating customer feedback into the pre-sales process to continually enhance the customer experience and improve the overall sales strategy.

Minimum and/or Preferred Qualifications

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years of experience in presales, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing presales strategies.
  • Experience in the business and technology services sector

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement effective presales strategies.
  • Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills to close deals and handle contract discussions.
  • Team Development: Proven experience in mentoring and developing presales teams.
  • Influence: Ability to influence key stakeholders and drive decision-making processes.
  • Adaptability: Agile in adapting to changing market conditions and client needs.
  • Industry Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • CRM Systems: Proficient in using CRM and other sales enablement tools.
  • Solution Design: Expertise in designing complex, multi-product solutions.
  • Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial principles to build cost-effective solutions.
  • Technical Writing: Strong technical writing skills for creating detailed documentation and presentations.
