Summary

Curana Health is seeking a proactive, highly detail-oriented Event Marketing Specialist to own the coordination and execution of regional and national events that support our business development and community engagement goals. This role is ideal for someone early in their event marketing career who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and takes pride in operational excellence, organization, and follow-through. 

The Event Marketing Specialist will be responsible for end-to-end execution across a portfolio of industry conferences, sponsorships, owned events, and in-community activations. Working closely with the Event Marketing Manager and Director of Growth Marketing with outsized exposure to senior leadership across the organization, this individual will ensure events are executed with consistency, reflect the Curana Health brand, and drive measurable outcomes through strong lead capture, follow-up, and post-event reporting. Success in this role will be defined by reliable execution, visibility into event ROI, and disciplined processes that allow our event strategy to scale as a high-impact growth channel. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Event Execution: Coordinate and execute the logistics and on-the-ground delivery of B2B and D2C events in partnership with marketing, business development, and community leaders, ensuring consistent, high-quality execution across event types. 
  • Vendor & Association Coordination: Manage relationships with event vendors and regional industry associations, including booking, logistics coordination, and fulfillment of sponsorship or partnership deliverables. 
  • Event Promotion & Materials: Prepare, organize, and distribute branded materials, signage, and digital assets to support events, ensuring readiness, accuracy, and brand consistency. 
  • Lead Capture & ROI Tracking: Execute event lead capture processes and support timely post-event reporting to measure performance, effectiveness, and return on investment. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicate event details, timelines, and requirements clearly with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment, preparedness, and smooth execution. 
  •  Event Calendar & Budget Support: Maintain accurate event calendars for assigned regions and track budget spend against approved parameters, flagging risks or gaps as needed. 
  • On-Site Support: Provide hands-on, on-site event support, including setup, breakdown, vendor coordination, and real-time issue resolution. 

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in event planning, field marketing, or community engagement—healthcare or senior living industry a plus.  
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field preferred.  
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.  
  • Self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-moving environment, who takes initiative and proactively seeks out the information they need 
  • Proactive communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with event software or CRM tools is a bonus.  
  • Able to work flexible hours during event periods. 
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
