As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll perform preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on our life-changing systems. Essential Responsibilities
Technical: Maintain diagnostic imaging (DI) systems in Czech Republic, with a primary focus on X-ray and surgical systems.
Electronic/Mechanical: Perform system-level troubleshooting on complex, multi-symptom issues. Interface daily with doctors and technicians regarding equipment status.
Sales Support: Assist the sales team during customer visits, provide technical insights, and identify sales opportunities.
Business Growth: Contribute to the development and direction of the business in the Slovak region.
Administration: Complete all administrative tasks on time, including documentation for FMIs and PMS inspections.
Installation: Support complex installations in multifunctional rooms. Share best practices and maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and GE Service Quality standards.
Team Support: Ensure service quality across the Czech team and help identify training needs for colleagues.
Qualifications / Requirements
Diploma in Electronics, Electromechanics, Biomedical Engineering Technology or equivalent
Solid knowledge of electrical engineering, electronics, mechanics, and radio engineering
Strong technical skills with a systematic and thorough approach to problem-solving
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Fluent in Czech and proficient in English (spoken and written)
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across Czech Republic
Preferred:
Understanding of magnetic field physics, X-ray, and ultrasound technologies
