As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll perform preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on our life-changing systems. This role involves traveling to customer sites across Czech Republic, resolving technical issues, and delivering exceptional service to ensure optimal customer satisfaction. Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Technical: Maintain diagnostic imaging (DI) systems in Czech Republic, with a primary focus on X-ray and surgical systems.

  • Electronic/Mechanical: Perform system-level troubleshooting on complex, multi-symptom issues. Interface daily with doctors and technicians regarding equipment status.

  • Sales Support: Assist the sales team during customer visits, provide technical insights, and identify sales opportunities.

  • Business Growth: Contribute to the development and direction of the business in the Slovak region.

  • Administration: Complete all administrative tasks on time, including documentation for FMIs and PMS inspections.

  • Installation: Support complex installations in multifunctional rooms. Share best practices and maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and GE Service Quality standards.

  • Team Support: Ensure service quality across the Czech team and help identify training needs for colleagues.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Diploma in Electronics, Electromechanics, Biomedical Engineering Technology or equivalent

  • Solid knowledge of electrical engineering, electronics, mechanics, and radio engineering

  • Strong technical skills with a systematic and thorough approach to problem-solving

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Fluent in Czech and proficient in English (spoken and written)

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across Czech Republic

Preferred:

  • Understanding of magnetic field physics, X-ray, and ultrasound technologies
