Head of Talent Management

Remote, USA Full-time Posted 2026-06-17

About OpenLoop

OpenLoop was co-founded by CEO, Dr. Jon Lensing, and COO, Christian Williams, with the vision to bring care anywhere. Our telehealth support solutions are thoughtfully designed to streamline and simplify go-to-market care delivery for companies offering meaningful virtual support to patients across an expansive array of specialties, in all 50 states.

 About The Role

OpenLoop is seeking a strategic and high-impact Head of Talent Management to lead our talent strategy and employee relations function. In this pivotal leadership role, you will go beyond traditional HR support to architect the frameworks that define how we attract, grow, and retain world-class talent across the entire organization.

As a key advisor to the executive leadership team, you will bridge the gap between business objectives and people outcomes. You will own the People Partner model and serve as the ultimate escalation point for complex Employee Relations, ensuring OpenLoop remains a high-performance, compliant, and inclusive workplace as we scale.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and execute an enterprise-wide talent management strategy, including competency mapping, career pathing, and a robust succession planning framework for leadership roles.

  • Serve as the primary strategic partner to the Executive Leadership Team, providing data-driven insights on organizational health, workforce planning, and talent density.

  • Act as the internal expert and final escalation point for complex employee relations matters, investigations, and conflict resolution, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.

  • Partner with Finance and Business Leads to lead organizational structuring, departmental design, and change management initiatives that support OpenLoop’s rapid scaling.

  • In collaboration with Finance, provide strategic oversight for compensation calibration and leveling to ensure we remain competitive in the market.

  • Establish and track key talent metrics (retention, engagement, internal mobility, ER trends) to proactively identify risks and opportunities for the business.

  • Champion OpenLoop’s core values, ensuring these principles are embedded in every stage of the employee lifecycle.

Who You Are

  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 4+ years in a senior leadership role.

  • Deep expertise in employment law, compliance, and managing complex, sensitive employee relations cases with empathy.

  • Deep understanding of HR disciplines including employee relations, organizational design, and performance management.

  • Experience supporting fast-paced, high-growth, or startup environments; healthcare or tech experience is a plus.

  • Analytical and data-driven, using insights to guide decisions and shape people strategy.

  • Tech-savvy, adaptable, and excited to build scalable people programs in a growing digital health organization.

  • HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) preferred.

Our Benefits

In addition, for salaried positions you would also be eligible for:

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision plans

  • Flexible Spending/Health Savings Accounts

  • Flexible PTO

  • 401(k) + Company Match

  • Life Insurance, Pet insurance, and more

Our Company

We have a relatively flat organizational structure here at OpenLoop. Everyone is encouraged to bring ideas to the table and make things happen. This fits in well with our core values of Autonomy, Competence and Belonging, as we want everyone to feel empowered and supported to do their best work.

Sound like a good fit? We’d love to meet you.
